My question: When did people start calling a "blog post" a "blog"? To me that's like calling a book chapter or page a book. Noobs v. oldskool?
@stacybond answered: This has been going on for like, a year. It drives me INSANE.
Me: I first saw references to a blog post as "a blog" about 2 years ago. Hate it. "I wrote a newspaper today!" (vs. article)
@stacybond: I hope it stops. Don't give in! This is similar to when everyone started saying "that's so cliche" instead of "clicheD." GRRRR.
@bvl: haha... too funny. Great realization. I hate it too.
And finally, @andrewcherwenka: you should write a blog about that.
So I did.
THIS IS THE NEW BLOG I'M WRITING... ABOUT WRITING A BLOG POST -- NOT "A BLOG."
How d'you like them apples?

Yes, I'm aware of the grammatical error in my original tweet on this subject. I originally had "describing" instead of "calling" in there, but it didn't fit in Twitter's 140-character limit. Forgot to make the corresponding change elsewhere. Oops.
Ha! I love it! Now that you have more than one blog post, it's safe to call this a blog now, isn't it?
